Short Term Optical Dispenser Assignments

The International Centre for Eyecare Education (ICEE), as a partner in Vision 2020: The Right to Sight, is working to help build sustainable eye care services throughout the world to eliminate avoidable blindness and vision impairment by the year 2020.

There are over 600 million people in the world that are visually impaired simply because they don’t have a pair of spectacles. The mission of ICEE is to eliminate blindness due to uncorrected refractive error, through providing accessible and affordable eye care services and spectacles to people living in poor and high-need areas.

ICEE is looking to increase their consultant network in order to engage more optical dispensers in short term assignments over the next 18 months in various countries in the Asia Pacific region, We are seeking consultants who are suitably qualified to train and mentor personnel who will be responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing and dispensing of spectacles in their local community.
