Colette Kinsella, National Sales Manager for General Optical and ICEE volunteer held a special Sri Lanka fundraiser dinner on Friday 16 March 2007 at the Palais Function Room in Leichhartdt, Sydney.
More than 200 people attended the glittering dinner; guests included optometrists and suppliers to the industry who are major supporters and sponsors of ICEE and Colette’s work for the industry.
The evening was a great success and the total funds raised at the event were totaled at $43,000.00. All of the funds raised through the generosity and support will go towards buying optical equipment and training of local staff in Sri Lanka so they can provide the testing and give sight and joy back to many more thousands of people.
